First, yes you can turn the LED lights on and off at the base. I was worried about this but saw the answer but didn't tell me how to do it: There is a touch button to the right of where your AirPods connect. See attached image (area outlined in yellow). This is very important as I plan to use it on the nightstand by the bed and the blue/green lights are pretty bright. As for the actual review, this is the fourth combo dock I've bought from AMZ since I've had my Apple. Watch Series 5 (with latest watchOS 6.x installed). This is also the ONLY device that has worked to date to charge the watch (other than the original Apple charger that came with the watch). All other docking stations went into this start/stop charge cycle every few seconds and the watch never actually charged. I bought a third party QC 3.0 charger according to the specs and it worked like clockwork. "Speed Tests" but I'll update my review when I get a chance. At the moment I have all 3 devices (iPhone XS, Apple Watch Series 5 and Airpods Gen 1) all docked and charged.
