Love love! for food strainers

I love love love this item! While watching some canning videos my husband came across this article and looked it up on Revain. He was convinced that I should try. I've also doubted something that seems too good to be true and it took me weeks to spend money on it. Well, the tomatoes in the garden are ripe and I always make my own sauce and preserve it, but I've always run out of seeds in the sauce because I've never had a better way to get rid of them. Well, then along comes this food strainer and sauce maker, and let me tell you, it's amazing. I didn't have to peel the tomatoes, I just cored them and quartered them, pushing them back into the bowl and turning them over and over again. All of the pulp and juice went into my large bowl while the peel and seeds went into another waste bowl. And then when I had a bowl full of waste, I would digest it again to collect the extra juice or pulp. It's that simple. I've read that some people have had issues with the back of the juice coming out of the handle. Just take a rubber spatula and gently scrape the pulp from the grater. No more backup. Amazingly easy and worth every penny. I can't tell you how much easier this made processing the tomatoes for the spaghetti sauce. You'll need to do a little cleaning, but it's not critical. It attached to my kitchen island and I put a piece of thick cardboard between the bracket and the counter to keep it in place and it worked like a charm. You will love it!
