Our little one recently learned to open all the doors to our house to try to go outside and play. We've seen different types of toddler locks used in different homes with varying degrees of success, but a friend suggested this one and we're very glad she did. You can mount them on doors of any height (as high as adults can reach) and they actually serve as a little extra security at night as they are essentially an extra deadbolt. They go well with our door when it's closed, which I really appreciate. They're a little tricky to open at times when you have your hands full, but I'd prefer them sturdy to protect my kids and a bit difficult to open than flimsy to be easy to use. Excellent purchase!
