4k@60hz ONLY works if your device supports DisplayPort 1.4!

I NEVER normally write a one day review on a product but I gave it a go and I wasn't disappointed! It works fine on my 2020 Macbook M1 connected to a 4k TV via HDMI. I use it as a secondary monitor. My Macbook outputs 4k at 60Hz which is the main reason I bought this thing. My secondary goal was to use this on my work laptop, which is a Dell Latitude 5290 2-in-1 but only outputs 4k30Hz as it doesn't support DisplayPort 1.4. I went in with that knowledge and I'm still okay with that. The USB-C power delivery works, but I rarely leave it plugged in as I have a different port for it on my Mac and work laptop so as not to further stress the device. when not needed. The USB ports work, but I haven't tried to test the transfer speed. I haven't tested the SD card reader and probably won't use it very often, but I'm glad to have one just in case. I haven't checked Ethernet, but there's no immediate need for it. One final note: I do experience some screen flickering from time to time, but not enough to be distracting or distracting. I don't want to say it's this device because I haven't tested other HDMI cables or TVs, but if it becomes a bigger problem after long use and testing I'll definitely update this review.
