Took about 5 minutes to install. It comes with two hooks and I screwed them on each side to allow the mesh to be attached on either side. I attached the bottom hooks to the bottom of the seat and the straps around the top rails. Everything is secured and my two dogs couldn't get around it. The net is stretched tight enough not to dangle. I had to attach a small bungee cord to the bottom center of the net as the net hung too far from the back seat and my dogs would easily stick their heads in it. However, the little bungee cord worked great and now there are no open gaps.
