My husband received this item for free in exchange for an honest review. This is how he thinks about the Bleds 8109 flush cutter. The flush cutter arrived quickly and was well packaged. As other reviewers have said, the tool has a distinct chemical odor, but this seems to dissipate quickly. The handles are mostly ergonomic, but very smooth, making it easy for you to slip out of your hand during use. The spring mechanism was very reliable and easy to use (making the tool easier to work with). The cutter's jaws seemed to be made of decently thick metal. The jaws of the tool felt a little short and, contrary to the product images, had a rounded nose rather than a sharp one. improved the instrument. In addition, the cut surfaces are not very sharp. The cutters that came with my 3D printer are sharper than these and work better with filament and clean prints from supports. In general, I would rate these tools higher if they were sharper and longer (without a rounded tip). They do their job but could do better.
