I've had several of these over the last few decades. I have never worn or broken. I would sell them when I don't need them and buy them again when I need them, like now. They are much safer than those with elements that heat up, things that can ignite clothing, curtains, and anything else that can catch fire. They heat a large area and are economical. I have a 32 foot trailer that I needed to keep cool this winter and didn't want to leave the propane stove on and unattended. I already had one of these heaters, it is over 10 years old and still works like new and I bought this newer model. I have one in the back and one in the kitchen and they are set low and the thermostat is only 1/4 on. These two heaters keep the motorhome warm even on the coldest nights. Last night it dropped to twenty degrees and in the van it was 58 degrees because two of them were on minimum. I don't have to winterize my camper or worry about pipes or tanks freezing, and I don't have to worry about those heaters catching fire, warping or melting anything. If a pet or child touches it, it will not burn them. I can tell you from years of experience that these are the best and safest heaters you can buy. The only scam I can think of is that new green light they gave him. This is totally unnecessary unless you like night lights. If I were to use it in the bedroom I would cover it, I like the room to be dark when I'm sleeping.
