The video is amazing - definitely high def. The range seems to be great too. I haven't mounted it on the RV yet, but I powered the cameras in the house and the monitor in the truck, at least 50 feet apart. The cameras and monitor connected instantly and the video was flawless. Tested it with low light as well, and the images were very clear. This will be a great system to provide assurance during lane changes and backing the trailer into tight spaces. I especially like the gimbal camera mount for the side of the RV - it doesn't need a separate hanger like some other systems and the mount will keep it close and tight.Update #1 - Mounted the cameras to my 40' 5th wheel today - very pleased with a standing test, but haven't moved the trailer yet. Will update again after I get some miles on it.
