This lens is a steal for the price. It's fairly sharp, with good color reproduction, especially with a slight mute. It has a very nice background blur that allows you to focus on an object or person in the foreground. This is a good lens for street photography or any type of photography where the photographer wants to focus on the subject and blur the background. The autofocus is fast enough and fairly quiet. It's not a Tokina Opera 50mm, but it's not $950 either. Considering the value for money this is a great lens.
