This is a "portable" scooter as it folds up and is said to be easy to carry when not in use. I personally have not had such experiences. I find it difficult to disassemble and assemble (actually it just folds, the arms extend and fold and the height bar folds). Maybe with a little more effort I'll learn how to wear it around the included carrying strap, but I doubt it. I built it as a scooter and it will probably stay that way. Like I said, I'm really enjoying this scooter. My son is 5 years old and still rides a 3 wheel scooter so I bought one for myself (170lb adult female) so I can ride the scooter with my son. It definitely fits an adult and is height adjustable so my son can use it when he grows up. It has a small stand so it can stand when not in use. The wheels are hard rubber, so they won't burst (although not sure how long they'll last under heavy use). The body of the scooter is made of steel and is very durable. There are no handbrakes here, just a brake over the rear tire that you step on to slow the scooter down, which isn't great if you're going really fast, but overall it works. In general I like it. I love that I can use it as an adult (and not have to worry about it breaking underneath me) and that my son can use it when he's older. Maybe with practice we can fold it up and carry it around as intended, but for now we'll just leave it assembled and use it as needed.)
