Part missing and impossible to ride

I would like to give this scooter a 5 star rating but arrived with a part missing and cannot be used. I have contacted the manufacturer and am waiting for a response.

Cons
  • Can't remember

Great little scooter

Great little scooter. Easily a notch (or two) better than razor scooters with smaller wheels. Tons of adjustments to grow with our daughter, very durable and seems to last a long time.

not as good as i hoped

razor rollers are smaller but better built. I like the wheels, they roll well. The handles fall out and I think it's just to make shipping easier. But this makes the handles wobble a bit, which I really don't like. The brake does not work very well. Anti-slip coating is good. You can get good speed with this. Not bad but could be better.

Pros
  • great for me
Cons
  • big and bulky

Great for medium sized kids

We have 3 different scooters for kids so I have a good point of comparison with other models. It's aluminum and lightweight. 8 inch wheels are good and I prefer them over 6 inch wheels. The deck is medium in size and a bit small for big feet. I would say the ideal age for this is 7-12 years old. Our teenager is tall and he doesn't like it as much as the other model with the longer body. Assembly is easy, but the child cannot. The shock is terrible and I wouldn't take it as an opportunity toโ€ฆ

Adults can have fun too!

My daughters have scooters, so of course I tried to ride them to play. Decided to buy a scooter and this one did not disappoint. This item is perfect for adults who want to ride with their kids or even younger teens who still want to use a scooter. It arrived fully assembled in the box so no tools were required for assembly. I love that it folds up for travel and is quick to assemble when you're ready to go. The kickstand is what really makes this thing work for me. Not many scooters have them,

Buc cees decal adds 5 more horsepower

My husband bought a large scooter to play with and a day later our son tried to claim it. Oh it won't fly said my husband so the Retrospec 500 was left outside for a few days and after about 15 minutes it was assembled and my son started testing it. Now this scooter says it can hold up to 220 pounds but after comparing that to what my husband has I think maybe this scooter is better for kids and teens. The Retrospec foot platform is about half the size of my men's, proving that the Retrospecโ€ฆ

Good mid-range scooter

A few years ago I bought a scooter that ended up being passed down to the kids so I had intentions of making it mine (spoilers my eldest took it) . While I like some aspects of it, I'm a little wary of the plastic collar that folds back to lock the handlebars in place, when I first installed it a random piece of plastic fell out (which I couldn't find in the manual). So far it's holding up, but I'm curious how it would hold up if you were to fold this scooter up regularly. Although the steering

Good scooter. Continuous. A bit tricky to "assemble "

This is a "portable" scooter as it folds up and is said to be easy to carry when not in use. I personally have not had such experiences. I find it difficult to disassemble and assemble (actually it just folds, the arms extend and fold and the height bar folds). Maybe with a little more effort I'll learn how to wear it around the included carrying strap, but I doubt it. I built it as a scooter and it will probably stay that way. Like I said, I'm really enjoying this scooter. My son is 5 yearsโ€ฆ
