This microscope is just amazing! It works on my Samsung Galaxy 8 and on my iPad! My original Jiusion digital microscope (no wifi) was not working on my iPad. I bought this microscope to inspect my herbs, flowers and vegetables for pests. It can be hand held or used with the included stand. The microscope can take photos by pressing the microscope's camera button or the phone's camera button. It's easy to set up and the instructions are very clear. Sometimes your wifi goes down and you have to use a hotspot so keep an eye on the data because if you're like me you get addicted to exploring. The camera has many zoom options and the images are sharp. You can also record videos. You can manually zoom in, focus and take a photo, or zoom in and then press the side button on the camera to zoom even further up to 1.2x, 1.4x1.6x and then take a photo. The included stand can also be purchased separately. The stand is perfect. It is well made, strong metal parts and easy to assemble. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little heavier so it doesn't move if I accidentally touch it too hard. And the customer support is amazing! I have emailed them many times and each time my issues have been resolved quickly, usually within 12 hours. Great camera, fantastic price and worth every penny. Highly recommended
