I don't know who came up with this calendar concept but what a great idea! I have past years and these years and I love them both. I've read complaints about templates. Hm. I bought subscriptions to various knitting magazines for more than the price of this calendar and didn't find a single pattern I ever thought of. There are many great patterns in this calendar! Yes, some of these can be found on the internet, but for us here they are conveniently printed out to carry in our purse. You can easily find the pattern you like, laminate it and take it with you. There are beautiful patterns for scarves and hats, dog sweaters, bags, wonderful easy patterns for socks, it will show you how to make different pattern stitches if you want to learn. I saw a pattern of tea comfort, warm looking blankets, a felted basket, roses to knit! – I mean, there are many things to do, if not for yourself, for those in need around the world! I was thrilled that one of my first hat designs was chosen for this year's calendar and I hope people feel it. the satisfaction of making them and delivering them to local hospitals.
