🧶 Explore a Year of Creativity with the Knitting Pattern-a-Day Calendar: 2006 Review

This calendar is a perfect pick-me-up for any knitting lover out there! The knitting patterns provided in this calendar are unique, creative and inspiring. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice from these patterns, I've been able to create wonderful pieces to add to my Arts and Crafts collection. The only downside is that some of the patterns can be a bit challenging for beginners.

A knitting calendar with patterns for the day is a good idea, but the reality is that most patterns are either in a binder somewhere or just tossed in the bin; very few knitters are able to handle that amount of work, and fewer still would want to. The main problem with this calendar is that many of the patterns are relatively unattractive (think of the silly hat they chose for the box lid; maybe it would have been better with different thread colors, but still). Don't buy this for your mother.

I don't know who came up with this calendar concept but what a great idea! I have past years and these years and I love them both. I've read complaints about templates. Hm. I bought subscriptions to various knitting magazines for more than the price of this calendar and didn't find a single pattern I ever thought of. There are many great patterns in this calendar!
