Review on Benote Diamond Painting Supplies: Large Storage Box with 28 Grids for Beads, Project Card, Number Label Sticker, Funnel, Spoon – Perfect for DIY Art Crafts by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not a bad storage system. Beware of flapping drill bits.

To be honest, Benote offered to send me a storage kit in exchange for a review. This is my honest review. I don't give 5 ⭐ for free things. First impression, arrived intact and in neutral packaging. When you open the package, you will get a small spoon, a silicone funnel, a storage box with 28 smaller boxes and identification items. I like that these are individual boxes and not ones with 4 glued together. You know the view, you drop a row and all 4 open. These little boxes fit well and open with a light squeeze on the sides. It's really difficult for me to open it in the usual way with a flip top. There are different types of identification products. One is a card that you fill out to indicate the contents of each cube and information about the color of the diamond. Second, you have blank labels that you can buy just about anywhere. Third, a series of numbers (1-28). Finally a set of numbered stickers with space for something like a number or DMC symbol. I'm not sure if replacement cards are available. You can also place this card and look through the box to see which set is inside. Ideal for those who enjoy cooking multiple projects. Spoons and silicone funnels are typical. There is nothing unusual about them. Now let's talk about dice. They seem very durable. I didn't drop them from a great height, but the lids didn't open. You get 7 colors with 4 dice each. I personally don't need multicolored dice, but that doesn't affect functionality. I had spare drill bits from the previous set and used them, to determine the capacity of the cubes. Each bag contains 200 drill bits and I was able to fit 1400 drill bits into one cube (without packaging). Then I opened the cube in the recommended way by squeezing the sides. The drills popped out. Not hundreds, but I'd say less than 10. I found it disconcerting because most diamond artists like to have their containers full when they're getting ready. I tried a few more times and sometimes a few popped up. I removed a few drills down to about 1,000 and reopened. It was much better. Therefore, in the future I will either not fill it to the brim or make sure that my hand is over it when opening it. upon opening and colored dice (again personal preference). I give 5 stars because it works as it should. Shooting a star just for the popcorn doesn't seem entirely fair. It does not disturb my diamond painting, does not harm me. This is just an annoyance that will hopefully be fixed in the future. I give it 5 stars because it works as it should. Shooting a star just for the popcorn doesn't seem entirely fair. Pros
  • Benote Diamond Painting Project Cards: There is a chart corresponding to the grids on the front of the card and a description of the project on the back. You can fill in the content of the form so that it corresponds to the actual object of the corresponding grid (you must first label each grid with a number), this made it easier to organize the DP exercises. As each new set arrives, drills can be added to your main collection of dice.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
