This is a great spoon. I haven't checked the accuracy of the measurements because I don't really care. I just wanted to get to the bottom of 1/2 gallon cans and other packaging without getting my hands dirty. He's perfect for that. It's heavier than I expected or maybe even wanted to be, but that's what makes it great. He seems indestructible. Take care of it and it will last forever. It's a special piece, that's for sure, not everyone needs a very long heavy paddle to practice on, but if you want this is what you need. You will not regret it. I will be getting another one to use in my large fabric dye jars.
