If you look at this Chipolo ONE spot tracker and try to decide if it's the same as the Apple AirTag, it's not. If you have a newer iPhone model with an Apple U1 chip (iPhone 11, 12 or 13 series), you should only consider AirTags. Why? Because AirTags have a U1 chip, and your phone has one, you get the Precision Finding feature. Precision Finding can guide you to the exact location of your missing item, not just the general location. For example, this is the difference between knowing that your keys are under the pillow on a certain sofa and somewhere in the living room. Also, an AirTag is $29 versus $30 for the Chipolo ONE. Of course, you have to buy a holder for it at AirTag. The Chipolo ONE already has a hard surface and keyhole on the outside, so it doesn't need a case. But AirTags are still better, especially when you buy them in a $100 pack of 4. If you have an iPhone older than the 11 series or don't care about the exact search function, the Chipolo ONE works the same way. just like any other Apple device using the Apple Find My network. Just make sure you understand the difference between this device and AirTag to choose the best tracker for your needs.
