This extension looks good. I prefer braided textile wire, it doesn't get tangled as easily as regular wire. I don't see any obvious flaws in the design and I expect it will hold up over time. I will update my review if this turns out not to be the case, but I don't expect to have to. I ended up with a 15 foot rose gold cord. I only needed 10ft but for some reason the 15ft was cheaper. I needed an extension cord so I could plug my headphones into my computer at work - the regular headphone cord wasn't long enough. Headphones sound the same as if they were plugged in directly. While these aren't great headphones (I don't want to bother hiding them when I'm away from my desk), they sound just as good with this extender.
