I really liked the simple 1-wire (or 2-wire if using a tachometer) connection. I had no problems with the installation. I put the engine at TDC (top dead center) or cylinder number 1 and removed the old clearance. Slide a new O-ring onto the shaft. (Mine didn't come with one) Put some grease on the gear and o-ring and put it in place right away. I got a connector (two wires) for it and voila. Check your time and you should be good to go. performance is great.
