Best Handicraft Research

I am new to embroidery and quickly bought a practice kit. I should have researched more beforehand. I didn't understand what the fabric of hell was. I was hoping to get an easy fabric to work with. If you are a beginner like me, research the difference between cross stitch and embroidery and you will see that cross stitch uses different fabrics and different patterns. (Hell's stuff is thick, square, like a whole piece for your needle). I don't really like this method so I was a bit disappointed but it's my fault for not exploring it first.

Pros

Details: 100 color embroidery thread is ideal for friendship bracelets, children's crafts, tassels, Christmas decorations, etc. The pin cushion is convenient for placing needles and pins.
