Good Simple Fan Motor Replacement for Sub Zero 561

There was an issue where the original fan motor would sometimes not start when compressors were started. Due to broken freezer and fridge. I noticed that it was easy to manually start the fan when it got stuck, but the motor definitely ran out. Pretty easy to install in my Sub Zero 561. I saw a video of someone taking it out and putting a new one in. in. Took the following steps: 1. Turned off the refrigerator.2. Motor power and ground separately.3. Removed 4 screws holding bracket to fridge.4. Flip it back into place to access and remove the 4 screws holding the motor to the bracket.5. I removed the bracket from the fridge.5. I removed the fan from the engine with pliers.6. Fan and motor pulled out of the fridge. After disassembly, it was easier to pull everything out.7. I did it in reverse order to install a new motor and fan. There are a number of parts that come with the engine. I ended up using the new 4 screws to attach the motor to the bracket (the old screws didn't fit that well). I also used one of the round rubber standoffs between the motor and the fan (the original was similar), a metal "nut" for the fan, and a plastic connector for the power supply. I ended up reusing the original ground wire. I also bought a Scotsman fan blade 18-3710-01 based on other reviews. I am very satisfied as the fan noise is no louder than before. I was concerned about the direction of the motor and fan, but it was easy. The direction of the motor is identical to the original (CWOSE is clockwise from the end of the shaft, ie if you are looking at the end opposite the shaft) and the fan is really only mounted in one direction where the blades win. don't rub. against the engine. However, if you use a different fan, just make sure the air is blowing towards you as it spins the CWOSE.
