Review on Nordic Pure Honeywell FC100A1037 Replacement by Josh Endricko

I've been using this 20x25x5 Mei 12 filter for 4 years now. I recently received a box with a damaged filter. Upon closer inspection, I found that the filter material was not properly adhering to the sidewalls of the filter. See photos. I checked the 2nd filter in the box which was not damaged. The same problem, the filter material is incorrectly glued to the side walls in places. I ordered a replacement box from Revain. Checked the filters in a new undamaged box and the same problem. The filter material is not glued to the side walls, which means that the air can pass through unfiltered. Also, the Merv 12 rating is not written anywhere on the filters themselves. Only on the shipping box. Now I am very disappointed with Nordic Pure.
