New bikes were a great gift for my twins this Christmas season. So of course I had to get all the fun accessories for it. As a kid I loved my steering wheel snakes so I bought these very trendy ones. They're cute and generally good looking, but I'd actually skip them next time. The pinwheel part doesn't really move in the wind, even when I try to make it spin on its own. The streamers are cute, but the spinner makes them so bulky that they really stand out. Which of course also led to my children collapsing as soon as they learned to ride a bike. Like the first time, we drove on a small cul-de-sac near our house! I've been thinking about fixing them up so my only daughter can at least get some of them, but I think I'll just try to find new streamers who are ONLY streamers. My other daughter is still together but she hasn't fallen yet.
