Not perfect but very good

Pros1. Easy to install as you only need to connect a ground wire and a 12 volt switch wire that powers both the monitor and the camera. Plugging into a switched 12 volt source means my backup camera is on all the time until I remove the key. I have connected to my stereo.2. The relatively thin cable is long enough for my GMC Safari with at least 10 feet of extra length. I can't think of a longer cable for 99% of vehicles.3. The picture is very clear and pleasant. Disadvantages1. The connection cable from the monitor to the cinch connection and the power connection is only about 12 centimeters long. You should plan the installation so that the large RCA signal cable and power connectors are in the dashboard.2. The RCA and power jack are large and you will need a 1/2 bit drill to get into the dash. You should also enlarge the hole by 1/2 to allow room for the cable. I want the RCA and power connectors to be smaller than a 1/2 diameter connection. This made installation difficult.3. My 2000 GMC Safari has a license plate light that illuminates my rear license plate. This caused interference issues so I had to lower the camera to get rid of the interference, but now the camera is obscuring my license plate a bit. It is also very noticeable to vandals. You need to remount the camera on the side and remove the bracket. You need to provide a second mount to fix this problem.4. The image on the monitor shows that the cars that are following me seem to be very far behind me. But in fact the cars are closer than the monitor shows. Overall: Not optimal due to defects. However, it is worth the money I paid.
