Review on Calf Compression Sleeves for Runners: Relieve Leg Pain, Shin Splints, Varicose Veins by Brian Trujillo

I have been struggling with a cleft tibia from running for a few months. I had to take a vacation; kept my legs frozen and up and I was taking lots of ibuprofen. After a few months of rest, I tried to walk, but each time the pain returned. I couldn't even use the elliptical trainer. I was unspeakably upset. I rarely go to the doctor - just the thought that I would have to call triggered anxiety. Luckily I checked out Run Forever. After reading the reviews I figured it would be cheaper (and less complicated than a doctor's visit) so I ordered calf wraps. They arrived last week. I've been running ever since! As I sit and type, I have NO PAIN! I don't know what will happen if I increase my time and miles, but I'm a happier backpacker now. Height: I am a 63 year old female, 5ft 6in and slightly overweight (but muscular for my age). My calf measured 14 inches so I ordered a size up. Fit and comfort are subjective, but I don't think the large size offers enough compression. Customer Service: If I could, I would invest in this company because of their caring and concern for their customers! I emailed to inquire about the fit. The rep told me that for a shin splint, a medium would probably be better for me. She sent me a new pair which arrived a few days later! I am happy and very grateful. I have told several people about this company. Other companies should pay attention. Treat people right and you will have them for life.
