Review on 🔧 ACDelco Professional Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly 38192 with Pulley and Hydraulic Damper by Dawson Schmidt

Used 3 months no problems. A simple install that went straight to my Jetta TDI mkIV. No strange noise or vibration, stable voltage after 1000 miles. I was very happy to see that the locking pin held the unit loose upon arrival, but I had to remove it to install the unit as it was not clean. It's not a problem after all, but it would be nice to see a slightly shorter stylus in it. One thing to note is that the pulley is stamped sheet metal (just like the original VW part) and is surprisingly thin, so be careful when installing it.
