Broke In 60 Days Best CB & Talkback Radios

In less than 60 days this headset stopped working properly. The sound started coming out of the part that connects the handset to the cable that connects to the radio and I couldn't hear anything from the handset. Tried replacing the speaker, still the same problem. I liked it when it worked, but apparently I have to buy one every 60 days. I take great care of my equipment and there is no reason why it should not work anymore.
