I bought this harness specifically to test the fit for one of my Jack Russell terriers with hopes to purchase a second harness for my other Jack Russell.ProsFits greatSturdy stitchingPlenty of strap to adjust fitReflector piping for after dark visibilityConsPlastic buckle is difficult to releaseThe buckle is a quick release/quick side release plastic buckle. The product description calls it an "easy release” buckle. This is not my experience. I’ve used this harness daily for nearly three months, which should be plenty of uses for a stiff plastic buckle to loosen. The buckle is no easier to pinch and release now than it was the first time. I use pliers to apply sufficient pressure to release the buckle more often than the buckle releases like it’s supposed to by pinching the sides.I like this harness well enough to either continue tolerating the buckle issue, or I will replace the buckle with one that doesn’t require the hand strength of the Bionic Woman.On the chance this harness has a defective buckle, I’m only deducting one star, because I like everything about the harness except the troublesome buckle.
