I sort of have a beautiful log home on a mountain in North Carolina. I built it, so I'm biased. Dovetail notch with 3" stem overhang at the notches. Squirrels climb there and chew on the ledges of the notch. Squirrels are eating my house! The problem is that the squirrel has to keep chewing something because its teeth keep growing. If they don't chew their teeth, they can't bite. I bought liquid hot cinnamon 14 years ago and it worked great. Then I bought it again 2 years ago, it didn't work. I caught about 8 squirrels with a 20 gauge double barrel. I installed two of these repellers two weeks ago and haven't seen a single squirrel since. This rat repellent is amazing! I used to see a squirrel in the yard every other day, and every ten days they would come and gnaw my house. Well bye squirrels.
