Review on Multimeter Auto Ranging Multimeters Electrical Resistance by Ramesh Eastep

This is a really great little multimeter. I bought it as a backup for a larger and much more expensive multimeter I have. I think my old gauge is going to collect dust. This is a true auto-ranging meter, unlike my other auto-ranging meter. Note that there is no dial to select AC, DC, resistance, or amperage. Turn on this baby and it's ready to measure anything. The ohms function automatically switches to a continuity test when a low resistance is measured, accompanied by an audible beep. It has NCV (non-contact voltage) voltage detection function, which can help you check the AC voltage. Single wire outlet to check power and which side of outlet is hot. This is an unusual feature at any price point. It seems like magic that it switches between ohms, AC and DC. My other autoranging meter requires switching between functions. Large high-contrast LCD display with bright backlight and LED flashlight on the back! Uses a 2AAA battery instead of the 9VDC most gauges use. removable tip protection. I have several standards that I use to test my meter's accuracy and it is within the advertised specs. It's missing two features that my budget meter has, namely temperature and frequency measurement capabilities, which I rarely use. I give this five stars for its incredible value at this price point.
