So we recently got a Honda Oddysey and were planning on mountain adventures in the Sequoias in mid-March so we were expecting some serious snow. After reading and comparing some other reviews, SCC seemed like the best option to me. Well we were NOT disappointed! I tried them on before heading out and they seemed fine on the pavement, but I definitely felt the expected jolt. Fast forward to check in at the first ranger station where chains were required in the middle of a snow storm and I got them on in 10 minutes (faster than any other car around). I immediately felt them clinging to the ice/snow on the roads, making the Odyssey an off-road vehicle! But seriously, due to a snow storm we had to call an escort to our house and we were ahead of the 4x4s in our convoy. It was great to have these cables as the transition between tarmac roads and snowy roads made driving easier throughout the ride. I would highly recommend these cables for any car, just make sure you check the recommended SCC sizes and not what Revain recommends for your car as they will be slightly different.
