Review on Toshiba MQ01ABD100 1TB 2.5" Internal Hard Drive by Jim Cox

My computer was having trouble starting up because troubleshooting efforts said the HARD DRIVE was not working. Bought this exact replacement for my Inspiron 5755 laptop. Arrived quickly, well packaged. I will say that you MUST format the drive during installation, this is done by booting your operating system. I downloaded mine from the internet using my wife's computer on a USB drive. Go to youtube This is an endless information base. You'll need a Torx T-6 screwdriver, but again go to YouTube and you'll find all this information about installing your new hard drive there. So my installation worked great. Installed the disc, booted into Windows 10 and used the USB drive to install the OS onto my computer. MAKE A BACKUP of all your information as you will lose it if you replace your old hard drive. My computer works like new after installing all updates, browsers and applications. Saved at least $400 on a new computer, what could be happier
