I wanted a case that could be used for red wine, white wine and champagne. I bought this cooling sleeve and it fits all types of bottles! It's open at the bottom (think "sleeves") and open/tapered with an elasticated bodice. I froze the pod and then inserted a bottle of champagne from the bottom. I'm a lot of fun in the garden and wanted something that could be taken outside without breaking or shedding. I haven't tested how long the sleeve keeps the bottle cold. I can edit this if I find it to be a problem. I tried a velcro sleeve (from another company) and it doesn't fit over my champagne bottle. And the velcro was more expensive! Highly recommended.
