Review on Pro Resistant Improvement Installing Remodeling by Andrew Aldana

I was hoping they would be like the picture in the product description would look like. I thought they were good enough to glue and finish for a shelf project. But they are thin and definitely only good as pads that are not visible. Uneven cuts, knot holes, tears, broken edges. Each of the 13 parts has defects. I need a 15 inch wedge to level the hanging shelf. I don't have a saw that can cut a piece of wood into a wedge. After a lot of sanding, spackling and painting I'm hoping to use the best two parts to finish my project. These are the only 15" wedges I could find, but they are only 1 1/8" wide. Not as good as the 8" wood discs I can buy locally for less than $2.
