Poor quality pads on equipment

These pads were of very poor quality and appeared to be made of pine, but were referred to as "cedar pads". Half of the pads were unusable due to their very different widths and thicknesses. Floor cleaned under the fridge. I do NOT recommend this product!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Protection

Good, not good at hardware

Good but some are missing holes and parts. Most problematic pads have problems at the thin end. If you only use the thin part of the pad, look elsewhere. If you use the thicker end they are acceptable. I had about five in a pack which I found very useful given their condition.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Secret

The best choice for pads is cedar.

Yes, very good. Forget plastic spacers. Over time, plasticizers can leach out of the plastic and make the seal brittle. In addition, plastic gaskets do not warp or buckle in crevices like wood gaskets. Cedar is the best wood for making the gasket as it is more resistant to rot and termites than spruce or ponderosa pine.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • old

The extra long 15 " cedar cone spacers were very helpful.

I have set up several two meter long bookshelves in my living room. As an anti-tipping measure I lined the bookshelves with conical spacers Set up cedar at a slight angle to the wall and then secured them to the wall with anti-tip kits. The cedar tapered spacers helped me a lot with this project.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • I won't say anything

They don't look or smell like cedar

These pads are just the size, taper and thickness I need to keep my scooter lift rattling on the back of my SUV. I'm not sure if it's cedar, though, as they're all blonde and don't smell like cedar. Instead of the kernel, it can of course also be cedar sap. These pads will be exposed to rain and sun so I'm hoping this is actually cedar as it weathers very well.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Appearance

As described but unreliable

Seems to be just what you need for a cupboard or a deeper recess in a door or window frame. I don't think I would use a screw next to it. When I opened the package (with my fingers) the top gasket was already split making it almost useless for cabinet gaskets. After looking at the others, I found that they all have a tendency to split, which is quite different from other wood spacers I've used over the years. I would avoid and look for a higher quality hardwood gasket.

False advertising is 12 packs

The product description on Revain as well as the label on the box itself says 13 packs. I counted them in the package. There were only 12 pieces. I counted several times and got frustrated. So I recorded a video of myself opening a package and counted them twice after opening. It was only a 12 pack. So why lie in the description and label the item "13 packs" when you are only selling us 12 packs? I am disappointed in the false advertising. The product seems good overall, it will do the job I…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

I was hoping they would be like the picture in the product description would look like. I thought they were good enough to glue and finish for a shelf project. But they are thin and definitely only good as pads that are not visible. Uneven cuts, knot holes, tears, broken edges. Each of the 13 parts has defects. I need a 15 inch wedge to level the hanging shelf. I don't have a saw that can cut a piece of wood into a wedge. After a lot of sanding, spackling and painting I'm hoping to use the best

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Perfect for any application where you need to line or smooth!

My master bedroom is not square. In fact, there is almost a 2 inch difference on one side of a 20 foot wall! To be clearer, in order for the wall to be at the perfect 90 degree angle to adjacent walls, one side of the wall must be moved forward almost 2 inches. I discovered this while installing hardwood floors and realized that even though the floor was perfectly square, the room was different! The bottom fits perfectly under the baseboard on one side but leaves a 2 inch gap from the baseboard

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
