So this air intake has served me for about 1 year. Love it. It arrived on time and the day I received it I spent the night installing it in the dark because I wanted it as soon as possible. It took about 2 hours because I had to find someone with smaller hands to get to the turbo outlet and remove the old clutch. Since using it for a year I've been getting an increase in performance, nothing really noticeable, you won't notice much increase in performance. Unless you tune your machine. Shortly thereafter I tuned my Revo 07 GTI stage 2 and felt a significant increase in performance and an increase of up to 24 kilos. But anyway, back to that trick. Better throttle response and short turbo boost time. In terms of sound, it's not the turbo you hear when you accelerate, it's the air intake sucking in air. All these reviews say you hear the turbo when you rev 2km. It's a liar that the MKv FSI turbo won't spin until you hit it about 3.5K. But the sound of air being sucked in and out of your bypass valve is AMAZING. very noticeable and very aggressive noise when driving. Better fuel economy and better response. Now all you have to do is use VAG Com and change the air-fuel ratio and increase the PSI level. Much luck.
