Review on Irwin Tools 373338BX Bi-Metal Hole Saw by Christopher Gulledge

Received from Revain seller for only $1 plus approx $5 postage and couldn't be happier. This is a very powerful hole saw of excellent quality. What I liked most about this hole saw was that I could attach it to the drive system in a variety of ways. The hole saw has what appears to be a 3/8 inch pipe threaded hole in the center of the base. It also has two sets of 1/4" holes (most hole saws only have one set) in the base in a cross configuration (+ ) with a center hole for 3/8" pipe threads in the center of the cross. This was important to me because I used this hole saw in a unique way. I used 1/4" holes to run 2 threaded bolts through the PVC coupler I made and glued, and attached the hole saw to the PVC coupler with lock washers and nuts. I then attached some 10 foot 3/4's -" PVC pipe snaked on this sleeve to clear out the roots that had built up in some of my 3" underground drain pipes. I had to increase the drive end of the system to 1" PVC and a galvanized hex nut for extra Adding strength and durability (before I ripped off the 3/4" PVC fittings on the drive end) and powering the entire system. In the final configuration I was able to extend the assembly to a total length of 50 feet using 5 sections of 3/4 inch PVC pipe to remove any tree roots along the entire length. expiry length.
