Durable and efficient hole saw

This hole saw is a must-have for any industrial and scientific cutting needs. Its bi-metal construction ensures longevity and efficiency in cutting through tough materials. The saw's teeth are sharp and can easily cut through metal and wood without dulling quickly. However, it can be a bit pricey compared to other options in the market. Overall, the Irwin Tools hole saw is a solid investment for any professional needing reliable cutting tools.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to bi-metal construction
Cons
  • Some users experienced difficulty with the saw getting stuck in the material being cut

Not as good as I thought it should be.

All I had to drill was two holes for my fender exhaust port project and this 4" bit just pierced it through. It went through the jeep's fender fine, but when I started drilling the 3/32" thick stainless steel trim it snapped. It took half an hour to throw and little was done. Perhaps the hardest hole sounds, I've ever drilled, weird. I drill in stainless steel with other bits and even other Irwin bits all the time, but I've never had this kind of problem. Maybe it missed the heat treat process…

Pros
  • Bi-Metal construction for strength and durability
Cons
  • No machine gun

Excellent quality heavy duty hole saw

Received from Revain seller for only $1 plus approx $5 postage and couldn't be happier. This is a very powerful hole saw of excellent quality. What I liked most about this hole saw was that I could attach it to the drive system in a variety of ways. The hole saw has what appears to be a 3/8 inch pipe threaded hole in the center of the base. It also has two sets of 1/4" holes (most hole saws only have one set) in the base in a cross configuration (+ ) with a center hole for 3/8" pipe threads in…

Pros
  • Variable pitch 4/6 teeth to reduce noise and increase productivity
Cons
  • Fragile
