We have a well and we use the big blue iSpring filtration system. After a month or two we found iron deposits in the toilets. My wife found this online and Revain is selling it. We installed it a few months ago, plus a sediment filter and a charcoal filter. Great so far. I hope this lasts a year. Plus, our water tastes so much better than any city water in the past and it doesn't smell like chlorine (which wasn't detected in our test)! To update. The best efficacy of iron reduction was observed within 6 months. The last one (our third filter) didn't work at all. I called iSpring on Thursday (June 1st) and left a message. I haven't received an answer yet. I order today and hope it works.
