This seems to work so far, but the write speed seems terribly slow, especially when transferring a lot of small files. I used it the other day to create a USB installer for Mac OS X, and I'm not exactly sure what all it does, but an hour after the utility formatted the drive, it seemed like there was just a few hundred MB would have transferred to the flash drive. I ran it overnight and I think it finally completed the 12.5GB install after about 4 hours. Although the installer worked fine. For a test I copied the whole thing from disk and it took 14 minutes. I just ran some quick tests and it took about 10 minutes to transfer a 1GB file to the hard drive. I then migrated a folder full of smaller files and got very inconsistent results. The first time I think it took 5-10 minutes with 22 files totaling 94MB (I didn't pay much attention to it) and the second time it took 2 minutes. Then I tried a folder with 689 small files totaling 30MB and it worked almost immediately.
