Doesn't make noise. It works constantly in auto mode, when it catches the smell of tobacco or cooking from the kitchen, it turns on at a higher power. You can move it from room to room at the maximum, then cleaning is more significant, including from dust. The filter is perfectly cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. There were no problems. A significant layer of dust gathered in 2 months, I am attaching a photo for clarity. And this is almost all the time in auto mode.
