Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ First Alert SCO7CN Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector: Voice & Location Enabled, Battery Operated - White by Jon Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These alarms do NOT interact with each other, i.e. unrelated.

Please note - be careful, especially if like me you have misunderstood the description. I saw - read "wireless" and thought the term/description meant when - when one device is activated, the others will announce the predetermined location of the alarm. FALSE, ONLY the activated alarm announces its location. To this day I can't understand why I need an alarm to tell me where it is. If I'm close enough to "hear" the announcement, chances are GOOD I can at least locate the alarm/buzzer! Obviously you can see smoke/flames but you can't see carbon monoxide, you MUST exit the building, not just the room (advertised location)! When someone hears an announcement AND you need to share a location, this should be the PERFECT alert for you. As long as you know, understand, no other alarm will activate unless there is smoke/carbon monoxide.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Clarity
