Review on Airtex 429 Mechanical Fuel Pump: Superior Performance for Optimal Fuel Delivery by Brian Rogers
2 year 1200 miles: Fuel system
Installed August 2020. On my Chevy 49. I really doubt I have 1200 miles on it as most of the 21 or so were in the body shop. Today I wanted to start and the pump died. The fuel system just burned out. Plastic tank without rust. New stainless steel lines. quality filter. Cheap fuel pump. I mean, for $50 you get what you get.
