Don't worry about the 3.2 inch version of this antenna. I bought it and rode it for a week and was very disappointed. All those people who say there was no signal loss should live downtown. I'm an hour from New York and usually stop at stations in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia. With the 3.2 inch, almost all of them simply disappeared. Stations that used to be between "fairly good" have almost completely disappeared. I ordered a 7" from the same brand and there was a huge difference. As a test, I set my 12 presets to transmitters with different power levels. On my porch with a 3.2" antenna, I only got 2 out of 12 with good Strength. I then replaced it with a 7" and got 8 out of 12 of the same transmitters under the same circumstances. Needless to say, 3.2 inches are making a comeback.
