I don't know how to see this. On the one hand an excellent adapter. The wires are thick, the Y connector is strong. For most people connecting this to a SATA drive there won't be a problem, and that's a big one. However, this is not a permanent solution for me. I'm using a Mini-SAS splitter cable and needed some extra SATA power to power up my home server. The unilateral sides rest on a metal clip to hold the connector in place. If the metal clips have nothing to hold on to, like mine, the connection will be very weak. The slightest pressure will cause the SATA connector to slide out. I'm rating them 3 stars because I've used a lot of SATA clip connectors and they've never been this loose.
