Aloha, let me start by saying that I almost never write reviews for anything. I think this might be the 4th or 5th review I've ever written. This point deserves a few words. I assumed this kit was nothing more than a bunch of cheap junk that would most likely break on first use, but was worth the money if I could just do the job I needed it to do. Well what can I say except that I don't think I'll ever stop assuming the worst about things I've never seen. This kit is very well made and I suspect it will serve well for many, many years. The tools included in this kit should make replacing pressed front wheel bearings on any vehicle an easy task. The product description and scope of delivery is not really correct. The description and pictures of the kit in the advertisement made me very concerned that the tools I needed were not included in this kit and it seemed like a toy to me. Spring. In this case, a picture says no more than a thousand words. I would say that the car I needed this tool for probably has one of the largest stamped bearings used on modern cars and the tools included in this kit did the job with ease. One of the reasons I chose this kit was the ability to use an impact gun that cannot be used in some other kits in this price range. How well does it work? Spring. I spent less than an hour replacing a front wheel bearing on a 2000 Nissan Quest. There was no need to remove the bearing/knuckle from the car, eliminating the need to level the front end once the job was done. Yes, I changed the bearing directly on the car. What have I saved? Let's see, the machine shop charged $100 just for removing and installing the bearing, no front end alignment was required which saved another $100, and there was no time or wasted fuel getting the part to the car. or have to go back to the warehouse the next day to pick up a finished part. Also, there was no need to spend an extra hour or so removing and reinstalling the bearing/stub axle. Result. If you are looking for a good quality bearing replacement kit at a reasonable price I would highly recommend this kit. However, note that there are many kits that are similar to this kit and around the same price, but these kits may not be of the same quality. On the other hand some kits could be of better quality but I doubt a kit at this price level could be of better quality. Just make sure the description says you can use a percussion gun and if so the kit is fine. Aloha.
