Reliable product

I realize the experience will depend on your sink, the size of your drain hole etc. For me personally (who else?) this product has been great. I always try to install things like this according to the instructions before I start adding piping, silicone etc. The fact is that this product is installed according to the instructions without any leaks. I was actually shocked as I have a lot of experience in home renovation (in the "I can do it myself" sense). It took about five minutes (if that). I appreciated that the drain nut was larger than some which made it easier to attach the pipe. I also liked the silicone plug which was larger than some you see in the ads. Yes, the tube is quite large. It takes some time to get used to the size. Because you don't like it? You can replace it with a smaller plug as they are all/mostly the same in terms of actual drain hole size. As for the cork that really stops the water in my sink? Yes, that's right. True, the cork sits a little higher than the general drain. But the supplied washer ensures a tight seal. Again, some sinks/vanities have smaller or larger drains and/or more or less recessed drains. So those things really affect whether it's right for you. My sink is a regular American standard designed for a limited space/bathroom. And I can't speak to the long-term quality of the product (if it starts peeling or leaking or whatever I'll update). But now this product has helped me. highlighted.
