This cup is the only product that I have found useful for serving liquids to my very ill, very weak 94 year old mother. The flexible tube that works as a straw allows her to suck to intake liquid while other products such as sippy cups require more suction than she is able to generate. When she is too weak to create enough suction to use the flexible tube, the little spout allows me to pour just the right amount of juice, etc. into her mouth.
