If your vehicle supports this then this is a MUST BUY

I have a 2011 Land Rover LR4. I can't believe I've been driving a car for almost 7 years without this little gadget . This completely changes the rules of the game. No more fumbling with an audio cable plugged into the oddly placed auxiliary jack (rear seat center console, if you're wondering) to play music, podcasts, or audiobooks from my phone. This thing actually added built-in Bluetooth streaming to my device. . The song information is shown correctly on the car display, all controls work (track change, volume, play, pause), the audio pauses and auto-resumes when the car stops and starts, the audio pauses and auto-resumes when I connect a bluetooth -Phone receives calls in the car and the sound quality is phenomenal. It even works with third-party apps (I've tested YouTube, Pocketcasts, Google Play Music, Audible, Plex, Soundcloud - in addition to the native iPhone music app - and they all work great). There were also a few minor quirks. :- It randomly disconnects and I have to go to my phone settings to reconnect. That happens about once a month, so it's not a big deal. Sometimes when I start the car it plays a random song from my library instead of picking up where I left off. Some disclaimers: I used it with iPhone X and my experience was great. Not tested with Android, so look for specific Android reviews if that's your situation. Make sure you have the correct cable for your vehicle. I already had the cable when I bought my car, but you may need to purchase a cable for your specific vehicle separately, adding to the cost. All in all I can unreservedly recommend it. If you want to hear sound from your phone while driving and your car supports this device, no problem, a MUST BUY.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
