EDITED: I am removing 3 stars and putting 1 star and returning the board. The layout is ridiculous as shown in the photos I shared. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I received my board and took it out of the plastic packaging. I ran the towel across the board and the towel got stuck in many places leaving bits of fabric from the towel on the board and found that this board already had splinters and I never used it. I also ordered a cutting board spray with walnut oil from Greener Chef so tonight I will treat the board and after a few days to let the oil soak in I will try to use the board. If the splinters remain, I will return this board. I gave 3 stars as I was dissatisfied with the snap right out of the box, but I hope (with so many good product reviews) that this will be a good product and that the maintenance oil will solve the problem.
